Is it even possible to be this bad? Apparently.
That had to be the most painful athletic experience of my life, pacing the sidelines, watching my team get beat around like a womanizing Popeye by a not-at-all-understanding Olive Oil. Even worse than the time a Webster City player beaned me in the head with a basketball during a game (apparently they thought I was showboating). Even worse than the time I was forced to run the 400-meters in high school track, when I was trained as a sprinter, and couldn't handle the distance.
Yep. I wanted to play so badly I could feel my legs twitching. I manned up and said no.
Its as though Tina Turner was playing on the 80's radio channel over the speakers.
"We don't need another hero,
We don't need a healthy Tom-bo,
All we want is just one win-n-n,
In the Mac-Dome."
Tell me that isn't the greatest re-write of a terrible 80's movie theme song ever. You gotta keep a straight face when you do it though. Can't, eh? You bet.
